These are some pics from the half marathon I did in Taupo at the beginning of August. It was a cold, day, right by the lake with some yucky winds at times. I had two massive bursts of energy and adrenalin during the race but they were around halfway and 15km, not so much near the end. The end was miserable and very difficult to finish!! Lucky they were giving out massive Chocolate Fish (marshmallow yummy bars) at the finish line. Thats the only reason I do these things: the edible rewards!
